Connection drops when switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data

A wipe is something we or the admin perform; end users do not have the permission. Email us the IMEI or device name and we will handle it.

Finding a phone via 'Find My Device'

2. Full enrolment: the employer sees the device, can enforce policy, and can wipe the whole device.
3. Personal devices usually run MAM, company devices run full enrolment.
4. Tell them apart: with MAM you only see a work badge inside Outlook/Teams. With MDM there is an MDM or work profile in Settings.

When to bring us in: 
Not sure which one applies to your device? Open Company Portal or ask us; we can see it in management.

Question 14

I get 'access denied' when signing into work mail

Accepted Answer

1. Read the message carefully. 'Device must be enrolled' = MDM enrolment missing. 'Unknown location' = you are abroad or on a strange network.
2. Try to clear the Authenticator prompt first; often CA asks for an MFA step you missed.
3. Working abroad? Tell the admin in advance so they can set a temporary exception.
4. Non-business apps (e.g. iOS Mail instead of Outlook) are often blocked. Use the Microsoft app.

Send us the exact error code and timestamp. With those two we find the offending policy in the tenant log within 5 minutes.

Question 15

Cloud telephony has stopped, no incoming or outgoing calls

Accepted Answer

1. Test your internet: open a news site, a speed test, any web page. If internet is down, calls are too.
2. Close the calling app fully and reopen; the SIP registration often stays stuck on an old session.
3. Sign out of your work account in the calling app and back in. Then test an internal extension.
4. On Teams Phone: Teams > Calls > Devices and confirm your headset or speaker is selected.

If multiple colleagues see the same at once, it is at the provider or at our side. Email us and we escalate to the telco.
