Get visual voicemail (list of voicemails on screen) on a work iPhone.
Visual voicemail shows a list of missed-call messages in the Phone app with play buttons, instead of dialling a number to listen. It works only if your carrier supports it and it is on your plan. KPN, Odido, Vodafone offer it on most business plans, MVNOs often not.
Try this first
- 1Call carrier business support, ask if your plan supports Visual Voicemail and whether it is on.
- 2iPhone: Phone app > Voicemail > follow the prompt to record a greeting, you get a passcode.
- 3Not working? Carrier must server-side enable, specifically ask for 'visual voicemail' (some carriers call it 'message overview').
- 4Teams Phone users: visual voicemail arrives in the Teams app directly, no carrier feature needed.
When to bring us in
Carrier says it should work but iPhone does not show it? We contact carrier support for line provisioning.
