Sending or receiving faxes via email
Real fax lines are almost gone. The modern solution is fax-to-email: you send a mail and it goes out as a fax.
Try this first
- 1Request the fax-to-email service from your provider (KPN ePostbox, Voys, or an integrated 365 solution).
- 2Send: email 0612345678@faxprovider.com with the PDF attached. The provider faxes it.
- 3Receive: inbound faxes arrive as a PDF in your work mailbox or a shared mailbox.
- 4Test first with a colleague who has a real fax; some old fax machines only read 1-bit black-and-white.
When to bring us in
Need a real fax number (for healthcare or government)? The carrier must assign one; we arrange that.
