Sending or receiving faxes via email

Real fax lines are almost gone. The modern solution is fax-to-email: you send a mail and it goes out as a fax.

Try this first

  1. 1Request the fax-to-email service from your provider (KPN ePostbox, Voys, or an integrated 365 solution).
  2. 2Send: email 0612345678@faxprovider.com with the PDF attached. The provider faxes it.
  3. 3Receive: inbound faxes arrive as a PDF in your work mailbox or a shared mailbox.
  4. 4Test first with a colleague who has a real fax; some old fax machines only read 1-bit black-and-white.
