Freelance specialists
For specific engagements we hire experienced freelancers. Profiles we tend to work with include senior cloud engineers (Microsoft 365 / Azure / GCP), security specialists with NIS2 experience, and designers with affinity for product work.
We pay market day rates, invoice per engagement, and provide a clear brief with agreed acceptance criteria. No disguised secondment; you work independently within a defined scope.
Partner agencies
For engagements outside our core scope we work with a small network of partner agencies. Examples: design agencies for branding work, tax specialists for VAT questions on international clients, or larger integrators for enterprise-only pieces that do not fit us.
We actively refer when an engagement is a better fit elsewhere. Mutual referrals run on trust, not kickbacks or minimums.
Software and hardware vendors
Cloud and platform stack: Microsoft 365 / Azure, Google Cloud, Vercel, Neon, n8n, Make, Postgres. For development we default to TypeScript, JavaScript, Python and Go, with frameworks like Next.js, React, Tailwind, FastAPI, Hono and Express. We also take on engagements in stacks we do not run weekly, Java, C#, PHP, Ruby, Rust, Kotlin, Swift, Elixir, when that is what the client is on. For sensitive data or strict compliance we deploy model providers in-house; otherwise we use the usual commercial APIs.
For hardware we work routinely with Synology, HP, Ubiquiti, MikroTik, Apple and Lenovo, and can supply from virtually any top-of-the-line brand active in business IT for specific cases. For unique setups, a specific server class, edge equipment, a compute-heavy workstation, or a NAS cluster with non-standard requirements, we also build custom systems: spec'd to the real workload, tested before handover, and with a clear maintenance track.
No exclusive reseller relationships; we choose per client. For vendors who want to introduce themselves: a short email with a product profile and which Vectel-client segment you complement. No cold calls.
