New carrier handles MNP, old one ends automatically on cutover.
Try this first
- 1Request port at new carrier with current number
- 2Provide customer ID and ICCID of old carrier
- 3Wait for cutover date (often 1 to 5 business days)
- 4Insert new sim or eSIM on the agreed date
