Missed call notifications never arrive or arrive far too late
Almost always a notification or sync setting, not an actually lost call.
Try this first
- 1Open the dialler or Teams > Calls > History. Is the call there? Then it is the notification.
- 2Check Settings > Apps > the dialler > Notifications. Allow both 'Sound' and 'Banner'.
- 3Turn off battery optimisation for the dialler (Android). Otherwise it freezes in the background.
- 4On a shared line: ask the admin whether multiple rings are configured and whether you are in the ring group.
- 5For Teams Phone, call forwarding may be silently on; check Teams > Settings > Calls.
When to bring us in
If calls only show up minutes later across all apps, it can be a SIP trunk delay; we escalate that to the telco.
