My headset will not pair with the desk phone or headset base
With a Bluetooth or DECT headset it is usually pair mode or the wrong channel.
Try this first
- 1Put the headset in pairing mode (often: long-press a button until the LED flashes). Follow the manual for your exact model.
- 2On the desk phone: menu > Bluetooth settings > scan for new connection.
- 3DECT headset (Jabra/Plantronics): press 'pair' on the base until the LED blinks, then on the headset.
- 4Remove old pairings from the headset if it was previously paired elsewhere; many headsets remember only one.
- 5If the desk phone has no Bluetooth, use the included DECT dongle or a USB headset.
When to bring us in
If pairing works but signal drops in a specific part of the office, DECT interference or Wi-Fi overlap may be the cause; that warrants a site survey.
