Badge not recognised at 'follow-me' or 'secure print'
Pull-print systems are touchy about expired links between your AD account and your badge ID.
Try this first
- 1Try logging in with PIN or username instead of the badge. Works? The badge link is broken, not the user.
- 2Walk to another printer and tap the same badge. Works there? The problem is the one machine (reader or network).
- 3Many pull-print systems require a one-time re-enrol of the badge. Ask your admin what it's called locally.
- 4New badge? The old link has to be disconnected before the new one works.
When to bring us in
Pull-print systems (uniFLOW, PaperCut, YSoft) are a specialism in themselves. Call the system vendor for deep faults. We can help with choice, AD linking, or replacement.
