Printer suddenly not found

For everyone at once: print server or network. For one person: local Windows driver or expired authorisation.

Try this first

  1. 1Ask a colleague to print the same document. Works for them? Your machine is the cause.
  2. 2Open Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers. See the printer? Remove and add again via "Add device".
  3. 3Have a print server? Ask IT whether it has been restarted. Queues sometimes block each other.
  4. 4Test the printer's IP in your browser (type http://printer-ip). Status page? The printer is on and on the network; then it is Windows-side.
