VPN does not connect from abroad
Some countries actively block VPN traffic. Not "something wrong with your laptop" but a political issue.
Try this first
- 1Verify internet works without VPN on the hotel or SIM card.
- 2Try a protocol on port 443 if your client has it.
- 3Work offline where possible and sync once you are home.
- 4Align with IT before departure on which countries are problematic.
