VPN does not connect from abroad

Some countries actively block VPN traffic. Not "something wrong with your laptop" but a political issue.

Try this first

  1. 1Verify internet works without VPN on the hotel or SIM card.
  2. 2Try a protocol on port 443 if your client has it.
  3. 3Work offline where possible and sync once you are home.
  4. 4Align with IT before departure on which countries are problematic.
