VPN drops every hour and needs to reconnect
Fixed intervals almost always point to a session or token expiry on the company side, not your network.
Try this first
- 1Note exactly how often it drops. Precisely 1, 8 or 12 hours is a policy setting, not a fault.
- 2Save your work more often while this persists.
- 3Check whether reconnecting resumes your work without apps logging in again.
- 4Turn on "auto-reconnect" or "always-on" in the VPN client if available.
When to bring us in
We can extend session duration in your VPN policy or smooth out the re-auth flow. This is a setting, not a bug.
