Which connection should I use at home: cable or Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi is comfortable but gives fluctuating latency. For calls and VPN every millisecond counts.
Try this first
- 1Workspace near the router? Run an Ethernet cable. More stable than any Wi-Fi.
- 2No cable possible? Place the router within sight, no walls in between.
- 3Use the 5 GHz band, not 2.4 GHz, if your router offers both.
- 4Avoid Wi-Fi extenders with the same name; they switch unpredictably during calls.
When to bring us in
Live somewhere cable really is not an option? We advise on mesh routers or a powerline that does work for remote work.

- VPN connects but corporate folders are unreachableConnection says "green" but your network drives will not open. Almost always a DNS or routing issue.
