Printer jams every print
Almost always: old rollers that lost their grip, or a paper stack with overlapping sheets due to a fanning issue.
Try this first
- 1Pull the stack out and fan it; friction loosens stuck sheets.
- 2Wipe the feed rollers with a damp (not wet) cloth. Dust and old ink make them slick.
- 3Stack not too full. More than 80% of the tray and it goes wrong.
- 4Paper in the right orientation? Some printers want "fluffy" side up, others down. Check the diagram on the tray.
- 5If one specific paper jams: try another brand. Cheap copy paper in an expensive printer is a classic.
