Printer jams every print

Almost always: old rollers that lost their grip, or a paper stack with overlapping sheets due to a fanning issue.

Try this first

  1. 1Pull the stack out and fan it; friction loosens stuck sheets.
  2. 2Wipe the feed rollers with a damp (not wet) cloth. Dust and old ink make them slick.
  3. 3Stack not too full. More than 80% of the tray and it goes wrong.
  4. 4Paper in the right orientation? Some printers want "fluffy" side up, others down. Check the diagram on the tray.
  5. 5If one specific paper jams: try another brand. Cheap copy paper in an expensive printer is a classic.

When to bring us in

Still jamming after cleaning: rollers are worn out. Printer maintenance via your vendor; we advise on whether to maintain or replace.
