I cannot print to the office printer from home

Good news: that is usually intentional. VPN for data, local printer for paper.

Try this first

  1. 1Do you really need an office print from home, or can it go via email/PDF to a colleague at the office?
  2. 2Have a home printer? Use that. Corporate print-server over VPN is technically annoying and rarely worth it.
  3. 3Ask IT whether "Universal Print" or "Cloud Print" is available. That works without VPN printer wiring.
