I cannot print to the office printer from home
Good news: that is usually intentional. VPN for data, local printer for paper.
Try this first
- 1Do you really need an office print from home, or can it go via email/PDF to a colleague at the office?
- 2Have a home printer? Use that. Corporate print-server over VPN is technically annoying and rarely worth it.
- 3Ask IT whether "Universal Print" or "Cloud Print" is available. That works without VPN printer wiring.
When to bring us in
No workable alternative? We can see if a Cloud-print setup fits your infra. One-time configuration, never bothered again.

- VPN will not connect or keeps droppingTwo main causes: your home internet or the VPN server. One quick test separates them.
- VPN connects but corporate folders are unreachableConnection says "green" but your network drives will not open. Almost always a DNS or routing issue.
- Home PC slow on VPN, fast at the officeThree suspects: home internet, VPN server limits, or routing that takes a long detour.
