Lots of spam calls on the main number, can I block them?

Real spam often comes from CLI-spoofed numbers, known call-centre lists or international ranges. A combination of CLI blocking, anonymous-call screening and a captcha IVR works best.

Try this first

  1. 1Activate Bel-Me-Niet register and provider spam lists.
  2. 2Send anonymous inbound calls into an IVR with 'press 1 to continue' (call centres do not).
  3. 3Block international ranges where you have no customers.
  4. 4Analyse call logs for recurring patterns and add them to the PBX blacklist.

When to bring us in

Spam comes from spoofed NL numbers: blocking is hard, sharpen the IVR strategy, not the blacklist.
