Block or limit custom emojis in Teams
Custom emojis can cause clutter in formal teams. They can be restricted per channel or tenant via policy.
Try this first
- 1Ask IT to review the Teams Messaging Policy
- 2Disable CustomEmojis for a user group or tenant-wide
- 3Communicate this to the affected teams
- 4Existing emojis will not vanish automatically
When to bring us in
If policy is set but new emojis can still be uploaded.
