Outlook no longer warns of double bookings
Conflict detection is per calendar settings and can differ per view. Resource mailboxes have their own setting.
Try this first
- 1Open calendar, go to properties of the calendar in question
- 2Confirm conflict detection is enabled in options
- 3For a resource mailbox, have IT check AutomateProcessing
- 4Test by sending an overlapping invite
