Mails arrive with garbled characters in subject
Non-Latin characters get encoded and some clients fail to render. Often a charset mismatch between sender and receiver.
Try this first
- 1View the raw mail headers and find Content-Type
- 2Ask sender to send as UTF-8 if possible
- 3Update Outlook to latest version if rendering is old
- 4Forward the mail to webmail to compare
