Conditional Access locks out global admin
An overly strict CA policy with no break-glass account is a classic mistake. Prevention beats cure.
Try this first
- 1Use a break-glass account excluded from CA
- 2Keep that account credentials offline with a strong password
- 3Use that account to fix the policy
- 4Always test policy changes on a small group first
When to bring us in
If no break-glass exists, contact Microsoft support for recovery.

- OneDrive has stopped syncingThe cloud icon is grey or has a warning. Locally changed files are not showing up for colleagues.
