Internet works, but one cloud service is unreachable
Classic case of DNS, geo-blocking, or a firewall rule that got too strict after a security update.
Try this first
- 1Try the service over 4G on your phone. Works there? Your office network blocks it; not a your-laptop issue.
- 2Open cmd and run "nslookup service-name.com". Get an IP? No IP = DNS issue.
- 3Ask if colleagues hit the same. Only you = your IP or hardware. Everyone = firewall or DNS level.
- 4Check the service status page. Sometimes it is just an outage on their side.
- 5Recent change in firewall, antivirus, or security tool? Often the cause.
When to bring us in
For critical services (Microsoft 365, Adobe, ERP) a temporary mobile hotspot workaround keeps you working while we look in the firewall. Call right away.
