Firmware updates on Logitech or Poly are not getting done

Firmware updates are not only features, they fix security issues and AEC bugs. Without a management portal a room bar lags months behind and starts misbehaving.

Try this first

  1. 1For Logitech use Logitech Sync, for Poly use Poly Lens, both central portals for firmware overview and updates.
  2. 2For Yealink use Yealink Device Management Platform, for Microsoft Teams Rooms there is a Pro portal as well.
  3. 3Schedule firmware updates in a fixed maintenance window, not mid-workday.
  4. 4Pilot in one room before updating the fleet, some updates introduce regressions.
  5. 5Follow release notes via portal or newsletter, not just on complaint.
  6. 6Document per room what model and firmware run, then update with intent rather than blind.

When to bring us in

Without a fixed update cadence, Vectel can set a maintenance cycle with monitoring and report.
