Headset users talk too loud or cannot hear themselves, sidetone is off.
Sidetone is how much of your own voice you hear back in the headset. Too low and people shout, too high and it is annoying. Good headsets have a per-user setting.
Try this first
- 1In the headset software (Jabra Direct, Poly Lens) adjust the sidetone level.
- 2Softer voices need a bit more sidetone, loud talkers a bit less.
- 3Do not fix via Windows mixer, that disrupts call audio.
- 4Set a default profile for new users so each new joiner is not fixed individually.
When to bring us in
