Bilingual welcome message (NL and EN) for the IVR.

For SMB with international customers, 'press 1 for English' is standard. Keep it short and use the same voice for NL and EN, or deliberately different ones, not a half-half mix.

Try this first

  1. 1Shorten the message to one sentence per language, not a bilingual paragraph.
  2. 2Hire a voice pro or use a good TTS for consistency.
  3. 3Put option 1 on the dominant language of your audience so the majority gets through faster.
  4. 4Test with a Dutch and a non-Dutch caller to hear how it actually lands.

When to bring us in

English call volume is low: skip the language choice and play NL only, lower drop rate.
