Terminal stuck rebooting.

Reset varies per brand, factory reset wipes MID config and stops sales.

Try this first

  1. 1Do NOT press factory reset, it wipes the MID link
  2. 2Power off 30 seconds, remove battery if removable
  3. 3Test off the POS: only power and network, then restart
  4. 4Call acquirer support for a remote re-injection
  5. 5Use a SumUp or Zettle as backup terminal if you have one

When to bring us in

Loop persists after 24 hours and re-injection fails? Request replacement terminal and migrate MID to the new serial.
