Multilingual staff, can the POS handle it?

Most cloud POS (Lightspeed, MplusKASSA, Shopify POS) support multiple UI languages. Set per user: NL for the owner, EN or PL for kitchen. Receipts stay in the guest's language.

Try this first

  1. 1Set UI language per employee in their profile.
  2. 2Keep receipts and menu in guest language, separate field.
  3. 3Train staff in their own language, do not translate ad hoc.
  4. 4Use icon-heavy button layouts, less text.

When to bring us in

If your POS does not support this, it is a real reason to switch. Working in a foreign language costs focus and revenue.
