Multilingual staff, can the POS handle it?
Most cloud POS (Lightspeed, MplusKASSA, Shopify POS) support multiple UI languages. Set per user: NL for the owner, EN or PL for kitchen. Receipts stay in the guest's language.
Try this first
- 1Set UI language per employee in their profile.
- 2Keep receipts and menu in guest language, separate field.
- 3Train staff in their own language, do not translate ad hoc.
- 4Use icon-heavy button layouts, less text.
When to bring us in
If your POS does not support this, it is a real reason to switch. Working in a foreign language costs focus and revenue.
