Click-and-collect orders properly handled.

Customer orders online, picks up in store. Three moments: pick, ready notification, handover with scan. If your POS cannot track these stages, status is unclear.

Try this first

  1. 1Add a 'ready for pickup' status in POS, not 'sold' yet.
  2. 2Send customer mail or SMS on ready, do not call.
  3. 3On pickup, scan order-id, only then mark sold.
  4. 4Set a timeout: not picked up in 7 days, remind or cancel.

When to bring us in

If 'never picked up' is recurring, look at the pickup spot. Often the layout is unclear to guests.
