QR-app orders land on the wrong table number.

Usually a forgotten or moved sticker, sometimes a duplicate QR still on the old table. The app sends whatever table is in the QR URL, not what the guest expects. One clean inventory beats weekly debugging.

Try this first

  1. 1Walk every table with a phone, scan each QR, note the number the app shows.
  2. 2Remove old or duplicate stickers, including chairs or storage corners.
  3. 3Print fresh QRs with the table number large enough for staff to read.
  4. 4In the ordering app, enforce one active QR per table number.
  5. 5Ask staff to report suspicious orders (wrong table, doubles) instead of silently fixing them.

When to bring us in

If mismatches persist after a clean sweep, it is usually app caching or a buggy QR generator. Open a vendor ticket with the table number and the QR URL.
