Pull allergen info from the POS for guests.
EU rules: the 14 main allergens must be available to guests. In the POS you tag each dish with allergens, and your POS or QR menu shows them. A paper menu with footnotes is allowed too, but must be current.
Try this first
- 1Add an allergen field per dish in POS (gluten, lactose, nuts, etc.).
- 2Show them on the QR menu or tablet, not just on request.
- 3Update on every recipe change, not later.
- 4Train servers: when in doubt, call the kitchen, do not guess.
When to bring us in
