Attacker is in a mailbox, reads, sometimes replies

BEC: attacker has session or refresh token, reads mail rules in, bills. Password reset alone isn't enough. Tokens and rules too.

Try this first

  1. 1Suspend account, don't just change password
  2. 2Revoke refresh tokens (Entra > User > Sign-in)
  3. 3Check and remove inbox rules and forwarding rules
  4. 4Mailbox audit on sent mail last 30 days
