Files in a Teams channel are gone
Teams files live in SharePoint behind the channel. Restore goes via the SharePoint site, not the Teams app.
Try this first
- 1In Teams open the channel, click Files then Open in SharePoint
- 2Use the site recycle bin there
- 3For deleted channels: Teams admin restore within 30 days
- 4For chat files: sender's OneDrive
