Room goes down and nobody notices until someone tries to meet in it

Without central monitoring you only learn a room is broken when a user needs it. A management portal plus an alert flow to the right channel prevents that.

Try this first

  1. 1Connect all room systems to the right portal, Logitech Sync, Poly Lens, Yealink DMP, or Microsoft Teams Rooms Pro.
  2. 2Set alerts on offline status, firmware failure and packet loss above a threshold.
  3. 3Send alerts to a Teams channel or a Slack channel IT actively follows, not a mailbox where they drown.
  4. 4Define who responds within what time, otherwise an alert sits unread.
  5. 5Review alert history monthly, recurring causes show up.
  6. 6Periodically test the alert system itself, an alert that never fires is not an alert.

When to bring us in

For 24/7 coverage or strict SLAs, Vectel can run a managed service where alerts go directly to an operator.
