All-in-one room bar works fine in a small room but not in a larger one
An all-in-one bar like Logitech Rally Bar or Poly Studio X70 is built for rooms up to about twelve people. Beyond that, camera framing and mic reach hit limits, modular is the answer.
Try this first
- 1Count seats in the room and measure the distance from the bar to the back row.
- 2Up to six people or four meters depth, any compact bar like Logitech Rally Bar Mini or Poly Studio P15 works.
- 3Up to twelve people or seven meters, a larger bar like Logitech Rally Bar or Poly Studio E70 fits well.
- 4Beyond that, go modular, separate PTZ cameras, a DSP, a ceiling array and a room PC.
- 5When in doubt pilot with a loaner, suppliers offer demo units.
- 6Document the decision criterion per room size so the next choice is faster.
