Warehouse or production only needs Teams and email, which tier?
Microsoft 365 F1 or F3 (Frontline) is made for people who do not need the full office suite. F1 is browser-only with basic mail, F3 adds a 2 GB mailbox and mobile Office apps. With enough volume it saves significantly over Business Standard.
Try this first
- 1Count actual frontline staff: warehouse, production, cashier, technicians, people not tied to a desk PC.
- 2Compare F1 or F3 against Business Basic or Standard per user per month, ask for current pricing via your CSP.
- 3Test on one frontline role whether the limits are practically workable, especially mailbox size and no desktop Outlook on F1.
- 4Beware mixed roles: someone occasionally opening a desktop Excel report does not fit F1, then F3 or Business Basic.
