Payment terminal refuses transactions or shows time-mismatch errors.
PSP terminals rely on synced clocks for certificates and end-of-day batches. A few minutes of drift can already block transactions.
Try this first
- 1Check date and time on the terminal itself
- 2Power-cycle terminal and wait for network time sync
- 3Rule out router NTP block via firewall logs
- 4Close and reopen the end-of-day batch
When to bring us in
Drift keeps coming back: terminal may have a certificate or clock-battery issue, RMA through your PSP (CCV, Worldline, Adyen).
