Kitchen printer not printing orders.
Usually offline or a new item without route tag, during rush you lose tickets.
Try this first
- 1First check the printer is on and the network LED is green
- 2Ping from POS to printer IP, otherwise DHCP issue
- 3New menu items without route tag will not print, check item config
- 4Set up heartbeat monitor so POS alerts when printer goes offline
- 5Backup printer (bar or pass) as route fallback
When to bring us in
Tickets vanish silently during rush? Acute issue, customers complain. Turn on heartbeat monitor before next service.
