Azure, AWS or GCP for an NL SMB cloud
For SMB with M365 already in place, Azure is almost always the logical pick. AWS wins on breadth and developer mindshare, GCP on data and analytics. For NL office work it rarely lands on AWS or GCP.
Try this first
- 1Already on M365 and Entra ID, pick Azure: identity overhead exists, costs are manageable
- 2Building a SaaS product with heterogeneous workloads, AWS has the broadest catalog and marketplace
- 3Heavy use of BigQuery, Vertex AI or Looker, GCP sits closer to your work
- 4Multi-cloud in SMB is usually accidental, not strategic, and costs more admin than it returns
