Our bank link asks for re-authentication every 90 or 180 days.
PSD2 forces banks to require periodic reconfirmation. Since late 2024 that is often 180 days, but older links or certain banks still hold 90.
Try this first
- 1Plan a fixed reconfirmation day per quarter in the calendar, otherwise you miss the first few days of transactions.
- 2Prefer the direct bank link of the package (Exact, Yuki, Twinfield, Snelstart) over an aggregator detour, fewer hops.
- 3Check whether your bank already supports the 180-day rule, ING, Rabo and ABN do this for most business accounts.
- 4Keep the authorised user stable, a departed colleague stops the link.
- 5Reconfirm via app, not SMS, faster and fewer outages.
When to bring us in
If reconfirmation gets stuck on SCA or bank outage, we can review channel and aggregator.
