We want to block or scrutinise logins from abroad

Named locations in Entra label office IPs as trusted and countries as blocked. Then bind it to a Conditional Access policy.

Try this first

  1. 1Entra > Security > Conditional Access > Named locations
  2. 2Trusted: office IPs and VPN egress
  3. 3Country: only NL/BE/DE if you never work elsewhere
  4. 4Policy: block or require MFA outside trusted/country
