Exchange database does not mount, dirty shutdown state
Eseutil can repair but data loss is possible. First try replaying logs, only then hard repair.
Try this first
- 1Eseutil /mh on the DB to check state
- 2Eseutil /r with the correct log prefix for soft recovery
- 3Only on missing logs eseutil /p (hard repair, data loss)
- 4Then isinteg or New-MailboxRepairRequest
When to bring us in
Before running /p: dump LSNs and escalate
