Backup failure mails arrive at an expired mailbox
Alert destination should be a shared mailbox or distribution list, not a single person. Vacation should not mean a blind spot.
Try this first
- 1Create a DL or shared mailbox 'backup-alerts@'
- 2Configure it as Notify in every backup job
- 3Forward to Slack or Teams via webhook
- 4Test by letting a job fail (simulate offline target)
