What can I use NotebookLM or ElevenLabs for at my company?

Both useful niche tools. NotebookLM for research on a closed document set, ElevenLabs for voice work. Not for customer data without checks.

Try this first

  1. 1NotebookLM: upload up to several dozen sources, ask questions grounded only in those sources. Great for 'summarise this dossier', less for generic work.
  2. 2For business use: make sure it is the Workspace account and check NotebookLM's current data policy at Google. State changes.
  3. 3ElevenLabs: voice clones and voice-overs. Fine for demo videos and internal explainers, for public marketing with a colleague's voice: written consent, always.
  4. 4Voice clones are a fraud risk. Tell the team an unexpected 'this is the boss, do X' phone call deserves a second-channel check.
  5. 5Keep an experimental budget small and drop tools nobody uses after three months. Not every subscription pays back.

When to bring us in

Publishing a real person's voice clone: align with portrait rights and employment contract before going live.
