Mailbox doubles as todo list, things fall between the cracks

The trick is not "every email becomes a task", that only adds noise. Selectively flagging or labelling messages into a list works better than a dump.

Try this first

  1. 1Pick a task source: Microsoft To Do, Todoist, Asana, or your ticket tool
  2. 2Build the flow on a specific label or a manual action (flag, category), not on all inbound mail
  3. 3Keep the mail link in the task so you can jump back to context
  4. 4Agree which subject triggers, otherwise you get duplicate tasks on every reply

When to bring us in

If the same request (quote, support) keeps arriving by mail, automate the intake (form or customer portal). Mail-to-task fixes the symptom, not the cause.
