We have no Search Console link, or not set up properly.

Search Console is free and your most important SEO feedback loop. Without it you don't know which pages are indexed, which 404s exist, and where impressions come from.

Try this first

  1. 1Add the domain as a Domain Property (not URL Property). Covers all subdomains and both http and https.
  2. 2Verify via a DNS TXT record. WordPress plugins like Yoast and RankMath offer shortcuts, but DNS is most robust.
  3. 3Submit your sitemap.xml under Sitemaps. Wait a few days; then you see per URL whether it's indexed.
  4. 4Read the Coverage report weekly: Excluded and Error usually point at redirect chains, soft-404s or robots blocks. Those are the first fixes.
  5. 5Add the site to Bing Webmaster Tools. Bing crawls differently and sometimes catches issues Google misses.
  6. 6Link Search Console to GA4 under Admin > Property > Search Console links. Then you see queries inside GA4.
