Choosing between Logitech, Poly or Yealink for a new room
For SMB rooms up to twelve people, Logitech, Poly and Yealink are all reasonable. The choice is about which meeting platform you primarily run and which partner supports you, not a big feature gap.
Try this first
- 1Pick your primary platform first, Microsoft Teams Rooms or Zoom Rooms or Google Meet, all three brands work with all three platforms but certification differs.
- 2For Teams Rooms, Logitech Rally Bar and Poly Studio are the common options with direct Microsoft support.
- 3For Zoom Rooms, Logitech, Poly and Yealink are all ZR certified, here price and local partner weigh heavier.
- 4Ask two suppliers for a trial setup, two weeks in your own room tells you more than a datasheet.
- 5Calculate total cost over three to five years including licences, a Logitech Tap carries an annual Logitech Sync fee that is sometimes forgotten.
- 6Ask about the update route, how firmware moves in future, and whether you can do it yourself or the supplier does.
