Can I accept contactless only?

Technically allowed, but you miss high-value sales and drained phone wallets.

  2. 2A drained phone wallet (Apple/Google Pay) cannot pay contactless
  3. 3Foreign cards without NFC fall away entirely
  4. 4Customers without a modern card or phone are turned away
  5. 5A standard chip-and-PIN terminal costs no more than contactless-only

Deliberately running contactless-only (event, temporary)? Sign it clearly at the entrance.
