TXT record too long, host truncates or rejects
TXT max is 255 chars per string, but multiple strings per record are allowed. Some UIs hide this.
Try this first
- 1Split TXT into two quoted strings: 'first part' 'second part'
- 2Resolvers concatenate automatically
- 3Some hosts want one blob without quotes, test after save
- 4Verify with dig TXT yourdomain.nl
When to bring us in
If host truly limits, split the target (e.g. separate subdomain for DKIM).
