New registrar asks for auth code, can't find it
EPP code or transfer code is the password to move a domain from registrar A to B.
Try this first
- 1Log into current registrar, look for 'transfer code', 'auth code' or 'EPP'
- 2Some (TransIP, Hostnet) show it on the domain detail page
- 3Paste it into the new registrar's transfer form
- 4Check email for the confirmation link, click within 5 days
When to bring us in
If the code isn't visible, contact current registrar support, you have the right to it.
