Transfer rejected with 'domain locked' error
Registrar lock prevents unwanted transfers. To migrate, unlock first.
Try this first
- 1Open domain detail at current registrar
- 2Find 'transfer lock' or 'registrar lock' and disable
- 3Wait a few minutes, WHOIS status should show 'unlocked'
- 4Retry transfer with the auth code
When to bring us in
For .nl domains it's called 'opt-out lock', ask the registrar to check SIDN status.
