What's the difference between A and AAAA, do I need both?
A is IPv4, AAAA is IPv6. Modern hosting should serve both.
Try this first
- 1Add AAAA alongside A if your hosting does IPv6
- 2Test reachability via test-ipv6.com
- 3Many CDNs include AAAA for free, just enable
- 4No IPv6 on the server, A only is fine but plan an upgrade
