Our logo does not show next to our mail in Gmail

That is BIMI. It only works if DMARC is strict (quarantine or reject) and you publish a verified logo via DNS. Last stop on the deliverability ladder, not the first.

Try this first

  1. 1Check first that DMARC is on 'quarantine' or 'reject'. On 'none' BIMI does not work at all.
  2. 2Prepare a square SVG logo without gradients or effects, in the strict BIMI variant of the format.
  3. 3For Gmail and Apple Mail you also need a paid VMC or CMC certificate. Smaller providers sometimes accept without a VMC, but do not count on it.
  4. 4Publish the BIMI TXT record at default._bimi.yourdomain and wait a few days for it to appear.

When to bring us in

Preparing the logo you can do yourself; the VMC route runs via a certificate vendor and costs money. Want to know if it is worth it for your volume, ask us.
